Is this the month?

Hi! I’m Suzy and I am trying for a baby. My husband, Richard, and I have been married since April 96, but only recently decided to start a family. Well, we kind of have a family already – 2 cute kittys – but we would like some of the human kind!

I am charting, following Toni Weschler’s book “Taking Charge of your Fertility”. I have found it quite hard to understand my charting, and I’ve not seen what she describes as egg white cervical mucus at all yet. But anyway, this month, despite still not seeing the egg white, I have had a lovely distinct rise in temperature yesterday morning, so I probably ovulated the day before (4th Feb).

It’s probably ridiculous to be excited already, but we timed it just right this month, and I feel very positive that this could be the month for us! I have even been looking at the http://www.pregnancycalendar.com/ – Olen Interactive Pregnancy Calendar and worked out that if I have conceived, I will be due around October 29th 98. I’m trying to imagine what the year will be like if I am pregnant … all the gradual changes until I will feel as big as a house … and then having a tiny baby of my own – I can’t wait!

Well, I hope to check back here regularly and keep you up to date! Maybe in a couple of weeks I will know. I will try not to be too disappointed if this is not the month – there’s always another one!!
