Hmmm … I can’t think of a title

I am fretting a bit about Race for Life. There’s less than 2 weeks to go (eek!) and I am not fit! I haven’t been training – I’ve been too lazy! So I won’t be able to run the course, or even jog it! I feel kind of like I’ve let myself down – I was going to try harder this year. I’ve put on a few pounds too :( And I don’t know what to wear! Last year I promised I’d wear my fairy dress if I got past my goal amount of fundraising and as I achieved this, I wore my dress! It was fun :) This year I don’t know what to do – do I do it “straight” and just be normal, or do I do something mad again? And I’m running out of time obviously. I don’t know what it is about me that wants to stand out but I kind of do want to wear something different … I’m normally quite quiet and shy so this mad urge to dress up confuses me!

47 days!

I’ve just worked out that there are only 47 days until Race for Life – 6 1/2 weeks! Wow that has crept up quickly! And just in the nick of time, my Wii Fit has arrived! I’ve had a play with it tonight and I have to say, I think my favourite things so far are hula hooping and yoga. I also had a nice jog (but next time will wear my sports bra! 8O ) and a go at step aerobics. I have discovered that am very bad at trying to stop footballs with my head! Hopefully if I keep doing Wii Fit, I will be in better shape in time for the race – maybe I’ll jog it this year – you never know! I did jog half the first one in 2006, but last year I walked it all, but I did have the excuse of wearing my fairy dress for that one! I need to lose a few pounds too, so hopefully the Wii Fit will help with that too :)
