A Ramble on Blogging

Part of the inspiration for my daily blogging was Mark Watson’s Blog. I’m sure you know who he is, but just in case you don’t, he is a lovely funny man who is a comedian doing many gigs, appearing on TV and such. Anyway, he started blogging daily a year ago and his aim was (is) to blog every day for 10 years. Now that is a pretty ambitious aim. This blogging adventure has just had its first birthday, so he’s doing pretty well so far. I’ve made it for 50 days now … only 315 more days if I’m going to keep going for a year! Mark has an advantage over me I think – he leads an interesting life, and is a writer … whereas I do mum stuff, work stuff, and lately an awful lot of baking. There is probably a limit to the number of baking obsessed posts I can make … so sometimes I run out of things to say. For example, today – hence this ramble. I could tell you about my day, but that hasn’t been terribly interesting – I’ve been doing the washing, a bit of cleaning and tidying, baked a load of bread rolls, and chilled with the kids. I could tell you it’s Richard’s birthday, but you probably already know that, and there’s not much else to say on that topic as we haven’t done anything exciting to celebrate as he’s been at work all day and isn’t feeling too great anyway. So there you have it – a rambly jumble of thoughts about nothing in particular … that’s my blog for today.

On Holiday

Just to say I’m away on holiday.
I’ll be back! :)

PS – No idea what has been going on with my blog – all my pages have vanished and things are a little strange. Just tried to change my theme and it’s not really as I’d like it, but I’m on holiday so it can stay as it is for now!

PPS – it’s now many days later (and the hols have finished) and I’ve just dug out all the pages with a lot of help from my hubby :)
